While Harbin may have the most famous snow and ice festival in China, people in other places are also having fun with ice, thanks to this year's especially cold weather.

In Liaocheng City in East China's Shandong Province, an ice sculpture exhibition has just started to make the best of this freezing winter, at the city's famous tourist attraction - Dongchang Lake.

Hundreds of ice-carvings and snow sculptures have transformed the lake into a fantasy world. People have flocked here to freeze the happy moment with their cameras. And this group of sculptures featuring the city’s ancient city wall and landmark buildings is the most popular.

When the night comes, coloful lights make the place even more fantastic.
