Chinese president returns to Beijing after visits to Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan

BEIJING, June 16 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping returned to Beijing Sunday evening after wrapping up visits to Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. In Kyrgyzstan, Xi paid a state visit to the country and attended the 19th meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek, capital of the country.

China, Tajikistan agree to deepen ties for common prosperity

DUSHANBE, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Tajik counterpart Emomali Rahmon held talks here Saturday, agreeing to further deepen the two countries' comprehensive strategic partnership for common development and prosperity. The two presidents praised the China-Tajikistan ties and cooperation in various fields, and together outlined a new blueprint for developing bilateral relations.

Xi calls for regional security structure with Asian features for common security

DUSHANBE, June 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday urged Asian countries and their partners to uphold the vision of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security, and explore a regional security structure with Asian features to realize collective security for Asia.
