Xi's visit expected to usher in new stage in China-France ties

PARIS, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping's state visit to France will further consolidate the relationship between the two countries and usher it into a new stage, French politicians, scholars and experts have said. Ahead of his visit, Xi published a signed article titled "Move Together Toward Common Development" in leading French newspaper Le Figaro, in which he called on the two sides to meet challenges with joint efforts and deepen strategic mutual trust in order to broaden the horizon for common development and shared prosperity.

China, Europe see closer economic, trade ties

China and Europe, both pulling great efforts on cooperation with each other, have been experiencing increasingly closer economic and trade ties over the past years. Thanks to the CHINA RAILWAY Express (Chinese block trains travelling to and from Europe), it only took 10 days for the four aircraft produced by Italian aircraft manufacturer Vulcanair to be transported from Lodz, Poland to Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province.
